Rolling excersize

This is an excersize to help with the rolling tecnique . Where you use one finger to roll over the notes that is on the same fret but different strings . This makes it possible to sweep patterns that was otherwise real difficult to sweep. To keep the noise down while rolling mute the string already played while still doing the rolling action . Hey wessel,

Nice exercise, I dont think i got the technique right though. If you have the time would you mind going into detail, specifically on the first 4 bars I dont think my fingering was right and it felt rather awkward. ☹

It was a bit difficult to explain how to play it . It would help if you are able to do regular sweep picking. Your picking hands sweeping action stays the same as with normal sweeping.I tiped in the fingering on this tab attached to this message. I could give lessons on the rolling of a Katrientjie but that would involve 3 queen sized rizla's and Bankie ?

But on the guitar rolling tecnique , you should check out Yngwie's rissing force solo he does very fast rolling sweeps in the solo.He actualy does it allot in all of his songs

Awesome technique. And speakin' of Malmsteen, i loved all his stuff with Alcatrazz and his "war to end all wars" album.
