Was listening earlier to an old CD of Jim Croce.....beautiful stuff, mainly acoustic guitar/s. Songs like Time in a bottle, Photographs and Memories, etc.
...a great songwriter and lyricist. Died way too young, car accident I believe.
I guess many acoustic/unplugged musos still play some of his songs ...? or isn't his work relevant anymore ..?

I used to enjoy Jim Croce. He had an excellent guitarist who played with him, Maury Muehleisen, who I think died in the plane with Jim.
The music was very depressing , but excellent guitar picking and songs.
I had a friend who always used to come around to my house after a breakup with a girlfriend and I used to play "Photographs and memories". Many tears etc.
