It's not a rack mount, but apparently these are awesome http://www.turbo-tuner.com/ The ST200 has true bypass as well.

I don't know the Behringer, but the Petersen strobe units and the Korg models are wonderful. Behringer occasionally hit it out of the park with their cheap stuff, but find some reliable reviews first.

Generally, the big differences I usually find between the cheaper tuners and the more expensive models are stability and bypass/buffer quality. With the cheaper units, the pitch indicators tend to wobble around a lot, making it more difficult to tune and they tend to use cheaper buffers that degrade the sound quality of any signal passing through.

Some of the guys at the LP forum have been converted from strobe tuners by the Turbo Tuner. Apparently it tracks VERY fast. I think I should order one today, gotta find out if they ship here.

most of it is bad(for the same reasons), and some are good.
I'll stick with my TU-2 for now until i make up my mind.

maby i'll go and test it out to see how it tracks.

Yeah , i orginaly looked at the korg, but i'll have to wait a few months then.
But think that is the option i am going for.

Lol, yeh I have, I am trying to order one. Im still using one of those shitty little R60 tuners.

FYI, if anyone is curious, here are shipping costs for the Turbo Tuner:

Shipping to South Africa is $24.00 (USD) for standard shipping (USPS Priority Mail) which takes about 6-10 business days, and $32.00 for express which takes about 6 days. These prices do not include any import duties or taxes that may be added by customs.

The shipping isn't too bad, at least you know you'll get the package. If all goes well I am ordering my Turbo tuner Monday and a Okko Diablo off ebay.Time to finalize my pedal board and sell off the rest.

You've actually got me interested in one of them as well. The little Korg and Intelli Tuner I have seem to be really inconsistent. Sometimes they'll say the string are in tune and you can clearly hear they're not - or one will say they're in tune, the other that they're out. Just a tad irritating.

Also, seems like the Turbo Tuner guys are seriously on the ball. Mailed them earlier about the shipping and they got back to me withn 10 minutes - I was pretty sure everyone on that sde of the world would be sleeping.

The guys on the Les Paul forum are raving about these. A few of the Peterson strobe tuner users have been converted as well.
There are things I have been skimping on, the tuner being one and decent guitar cables the other.
