Furman, Phonic and Samson all have conditioners available locally last time I looked.
Let's now say, hypothetically speaking of course ? that a guitarist has a rack with a preamp and some effects and runs two tube amps off of that for a total of 50W consumption. Let's also say that he would like to power rack and amps from one power conditioner to get rid of inconsistent tone when the supply is no good. (Sometimes have bad tone at the practice venue, change nothing, get home, plug in and sound fine). What would be a good but not over-the-top one to get?
I see some have only surge protection and transient suppression, some have voltage regulation and some have all the bells and whistles including rack illumination, amp and voltage display, active cooling and so forth. The smallest power types would easily suffice presumably, but what to look out for otherwise?
