hahaha, I've made my decision now, and for the beginning I'm gonna keep the bass on the shop's shelf until I feel confident enough to try it out ?
The guy at Music Mate in fourways just showed me a Fender and a J&D, I only heard the fender, did not have enough time for both, sounded nice (but what do I know right). The amp he suggested he can do a deal on for me with the guitar is also cool as it has overdrive. I reserve judgement on the fender until I've heard the J&D, but I like the J&D more, it looks better. I should have taken a photo!
I'm thinking I'm almost sold now, I just have a few more shops to go check out. thanks to the advice from Bob. I did not expect the music shops would do combo deals on amps and guitars.
I know the Fender and J&D I checked out are only entry lvl, but they are better than the box set I wanted to get as seen in my first post ?
