I need a new acoustic guitar, but i don't know what to buy. I'm looking for a steel string acoustic guitar with a pickup. My price range is between R2500-R3500. What should I buy?

Prices on 2nd hand instruments seem low right now. Look for a well cared for 2nd hand instrument, you'll get more guitar for your money that way.

For an electric-acoustic in those price ranges, I'd look at Cort or Ibanez, both of which offer good value for money and decent instruments. The Cort MR710 Nick linked to is a good guitar for the money.

+1 for a used guitar. A 10 year old steel-string in that price range will sound better acoustically than the same model brand new.

The Ibanez AEG10 range is a very good guitar for the money, specially the earlier models that came out with Fishman electronics. If you can add a few bucks to your budget and try to get one of Ibanez's AW or Artwood range guitars. Very nice for the price.
