Guys is there a freeware tool i can use to convert a pic(jpeg or bmp) to a scetch kinda version
My gran passed away and I wana do a scetch thing for the ceremony that we are having.
We were really close, So I really wanna do something special
kinda difficult to actually look at all her pics.

Try Gimp, it's open source (free) and almost as good as photoshop

Photoshop isn't free, but it is pretty easy to do in photoshop. Not sure about gimp. PM if you need some help. Gimp may be similar to photoshop.

Haven't tried that but there are a lot of plug ins available from Gimp users that may do what you want to do. Try Google and see what turns up.
There is also a fair amount of filters and effects built into Gimp as well.
