Just to revive this topic a little bit, I found out today you can get thin copper sheets at art supply stores - normally used for printing. The ones I saw are thin enough to press into shape and fit into cavities or to cover a pickguard's underside. And quite affordable - less than R100 for an A3 sheet. Just a heads up. ?
