Poker... Any players?

FatBoy

So do any of you guys play poker, and more specifically Texas Holdem?

Spyke

If i'm playing for fun then it's Hold'em... at the casino i play Let it ride.

Gray

Yeah Hold'em is fun but at the casino its black jack or baccarat.

FatBoy

I host a holdem tournament at my place every second wednesday. Been playing for a few years now.

I have built a table for myself, and people started asking where I bought it, so now I build and sell them on the side.

The orange oval one is mine, the blue one was for a customer.

What do you think?

Gray

Impressive, the orange one is pretty groovy.

Once a month we invite friends and play.

NorioDS

Sure you can, price depends on what exactly you want. Round ones start at +- 4K.

NorioDS

Very nice ? Will contact you once we have bucks.

FatBoy

FatBoy

FatBoy

Yo! Where do u have your poker nights?

FatBoy

We play in Cape Town, allthough my time has been limited lately.

LMinnie

You got some mad skills there my friend...(carpentry that is)

CornFlakes

Nice table but where the hell is the cup holders?

FatBoy

Thanks guys! I prefer not have cupholders, everybody always squints at me when I say that, but ya, they are just in the way. I like to keep drinks as far from the table as possible. Have side tables for ashtrays, snacks and beer. I hate it when I am stretching out to deal and a half sunk beer bottle catches my arm, or as my second ace gets dealt to me it hits the lip of a cupholder and flips over etc. I just like a smooth clean surface, but ya each to his own!

FatBoy

*bump* not sure if all interested parties have seen this.

silentplz09

Nice table! Can I get one??? :-[

Shibbibilybob

I play!
When I lived in Joburg we used to play pretty much weekly (there was a spell where it was way more frequently than that) but that died down after a while...probably around once a month at the end.

Since moving to cape town I have hardly played. Just three or four times in three years.
Those are some awesome looking tables you make though ?
