MikeM
Hey guys
Quick recording of a tone that I enjoy out of an Ibby and GT10. Think I have got pretty dam close to sorting out my latency issues

Nice riff ? what latency issue were you having?
MikeM
Riff is "Plug in baby" by Muse btw ?
I was having MAD latency issues, where my sound and recording would not be in sync.. Figured out how to monitor it properly now though and whammp, almost perfect timing ?

Damn- Mike help me in regard to what you did to sort out that problem!! i have been struggling for ages that is why I have not been doing the weekly comp. recently! ☹

How do you record your guitars? Do you just plug your guitar through yr GT10 and into your input jack at the back of the pc?? I would recommend getting a line6 toneport - ul never have latency issues again ? the toneport has an onboard soundcard that handles the monitoring like a beast. So all you do is disable monitoring on your DAW and ur sorted!

I am using the USB out on this GT10.. I am starting to consider keeping it actually..
Basically I run the GT10 as an input and output. So I monitor from it's output (Basically using it as an external soundcard. This way I get little to low latency ?

Now if I could only figure out the levels...

@ Mike what software are you using to record with?
Maybe you need to try some of the Easy stuff first
Audacity - freeware editor, quite easy and powerful for such a small package
Reaper - a bit more advanced but still easier than Cubase.
Doesn't the GT10 when plugged into the PC act like an Audio Interface?
My Zoom G2.1U does, and then you run your monitors from the pedal, should be no latency.
