Nope. I tried many things after my first encounter with a Parker fly - elements under the bridge, in the neck pocket in the body, under the saddles and under the bridge. All were far from satisfactory.
Piezo elements are pressure sensitive and need a stable mechanical connection to the strings, as well as being as close as possible to the strings to ensure they pick up more string sounds in relation to handling noise from the body and hardware.
So you also have to have a transducer element for each saddle, and because the saddles move for intonation adjustment as well as to get it closer to the string, the element has to be embedded in the saddle itself. Then getting the wiring attached to the transducers is tricky at best and you also have to get the wires from the saddles to the electronics in such a way as not to damage/detach them - especially with a trem bridge.
