Small world - I was a member of a later incarnation of that band in '88. Got kicked out quickly because "jy wil mos rock en roll speel, ne?" Also spent many an hour in Magnets in the mid '80s, while still at school - bought my first Strat there.

I also used to hang out at Magnet in the late 70's and early 80's, I hadn't started playing but I used to dream about buying a guitar which I eventually did from Magnet!(plugged it in and couldn't play so back in the cupboard it went for many years!)
Also SA Entertainment in Hillbrow was quite a good hangout.
