Hi there guys,
It is my first time here on this forum and hope to learn much.
This past weekend a friend of mine brought me an electric guitar to repair. I am not a luthier, I can barely play guitar but I have great respect and immense interest in good musical instruments.
The guitar were already partially disassembled when it arrived. Neck removed from body (four screws and screw plate missing...!?) Fret board removed (without damage! Hopefully...)
I will try to get some pics take to upload here.
I have many questions such as:
How to re-bond the fret board
How to finish the body (Lacquer?)
Rewiring
Etc...
