I just got AndrewD's Fender Showmaster Blackout that he advertised on the forum and shes a beaut. (thanx Andrew!) Coming from the coast though, a lot of the screws and springs are rusted. How do you players from the coastal areas clean out rusted parts, and if you do how? If not, know where I can get replacements locally (black ones) or is importing the way to go? Also need a black plastic knob for the pickups selector switch.

if you're after non-genuine parts at cheap prices visit www.terryd.co.za
I got a few switches and some pots from them.

I bought 100 stainless screws a while ago which I use for everything. No worry about rust with those. Also I got the slightly smaller Gibson size which I like as I can countersink them a little deeper so they sit flush with the surface.

Thanks Donovan, Alan. Googled TerryD and they seem to have what I need, except the saddle springs.
