Changing the colour of my amp

Hey everyone,

Yes you read right. I want to change the colour of my Amp from black tolex to green! I am not sure if i can buy green tolex but i am not sure how i would put it on or can i spray the amp and if i do how do i go about it. The amp in question is a crate gt1200h head and 4x12 cab.

Now hypothetically lets consider ..... someone maybe not of the best with there hands, therefore them re tolexing would not be an option, are ther people who can do it? Furniture upholsterer? Amp technician? Anyone?

Many amp technicians can do it, as can furniture upholsterers. I have no idea of price though. WHile I've never done it before, I don't see it as a difficult job and will do my own when the time comes.

Maybe someone here who is handy will be willing to try for a small fee...

I will have to find my photo's etc. Vinyl isn't the greatest to work with as getting it tight enough is a mission.

It is quite easy and very cheap. I think all the vinyl for my amp and cab plus black material for the front came to R70.

I was rather annoyed when I left it in the band room and came back to see a cigarette burn on my new vinyl though...
