singemonkey Yeah. I used to have them all but now I only have "The Madcap Laughs." They others went the way of so many records that you have once and when you look again, they're gone. My favourite is "Barrett" though. I really want another copy of that. "Baby Lemonade" is freakin' brilliant. You heard he died recently? Last year, I think. Poor bugger. But it sounds like he was very content in his last couple of decades. Painting in his basement and whatnot.
AlanRatcliffe Heh-heh - I have a mint '67 pressing of Piper. Played twice (to tape). Genius in it's own way (particularly the long winded jammy stuff like Interstellar Overdrive), but for me doesn't compare to the sublime WYWH, The Wall or even Final Cut. Lyrically (and in some ways, musically) it's primary school level in comparison.
