Just to expand a bit on the Visual Sound 1-Spot:

They're basically a wall wart version of a laptop charger: a digital switching power supply. Plenty of power, works on any voltage, light and small and all around useful. The real problem is is if they fail (extremely rare), they fail big time and can melt your pedals because they have so much power on tap.
The other issue with these and all power supplies with daisy chains running to your pedals is that all the pedals share one common ground. If you have a typical pedal setup, that should be ok. With other pedals like germanium fuzz pedals and various vintage effects, the noise levels introduced with all your pedals on a common ground can be unbearable and unusable.
With a power supply that has seperate isolated outputs for your pedals, like the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 or the BBE Supacharger, that problem is eliminated and noise levels are lower (even with typical pedal setups). These types of PSUs are usually bigger, heavier and more expensive though.
I have and occasionally use 2 Visual Sound 1-Spots, so I'm not knocking them in any way. I just want everyone to be aware of the pros and cons of it vs other more expensive PSUs. For the typical pedal setup they're a great and cheap solution that will do the job perfectly.
