Piano

Howdy folks ? One day, when I'm rich and have lots of money, I'd like to buy Tanya (wifey dearest) a piano (because she wants one, not cause I want her to want one ?). So what can I "get away with". From what I've seen, they are kak-expensive and I don't really know where to start. I'd like it to have the feel of a piano (weighted keys, etc) but without the massive pricetag or even the huge footprint. So something digital would be GREAT! What's out there? What's good? Personally, I'd also like to learn a bit, if only to help me compose songs.

I really enjoy playing piano, but the last time I had my paws on one was 2003, so I'm looking at getting hold of an electric unit at the end of the year...for my missus of course ?
