Granted - Cliff is a thorough pro. I can take his style of music in small doses but I'm afraid I don't think I could sit through a full evening's entertainment. His orchestral arrangements are great but there's something missing -sincerity perhaps - just my opinion.
He's a showbiz act these days. He's slick, he's pro, his voice is still in reasonably good shape, but he's a showbiz act peddling nostalgia. Hence my lack of interest. There was "Move It", but there were also "Bachelor Boy", "Congratulations", "Summer Holiday" and "Daddy's Home".
