The Ad i enjoyed a while back
this was the scene
man sitting on couch, women trying on jeans
woman: "do these jeans make me look fat?"
man with such a brilliant look on his face : "No, I think it's the chocolates!"
"Need a place to stay......"

To be honest, I haven't watched an ad in ages - having a kid meant we had to get PVR if we wanted to keep up with any series (the only live TV I watch is sport), so I fast forward through all of the ads!

Pvr helps a span with children ..... And helps with bad ads aswell ,my best of all time is the savanha ads and the old corsa lite ads with raj and raj2 . But the best is still the savanha ad with the monkey and barry hilton playing the uke .... I have it recorded cracks me up everytime

Usually any Savannah, Heineken or Windhoek add makes me smile.
I also quite like the "Pretty But Tough" adds for Hyundai.

The vodacom ad with the guy doing Beyonce was good the first 500 000 times, but does get a bit annoying eventually.

The best for me has always been the Nando's ads. Especially the ones that only got shown once or twice and then had to be recalled and apologised for... ? Whoever comes up with their ads are brilliant.

How about the ad where the gorilla plays drums on "in the air tonight". What a classic!

The gorilla that plays the drum intro to Phil Collins' In the air tonight , the way the gorilla prepared himself, breathed in, slowly rolled his head, and then came in with those beats. I loved that ad, I thought it was very realistic, well done, although it did not show very much.

KFC also have good ones - The one with the dad mowing down his daughters imaginary friend is brilliant. Also the new one where the dad retrieves his daughter's "stolen" milkshake. Priceless look on the poor kids face as his shake gets snatched!
