Riaan Does anyone know what the medieval/renaissance instrument is called that almost sounds like a bagpipe? Let me try and describe it: it has a level on one side that when turned, causes a wheel of some sorts to grind against a string. It has keys on the left hand side that when depressed, presumably alters the string length and therefore pitch. It's used in folk bands, I've seen it used on the Unledded DVD of Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. Also, Richie Blackmore plays one on one of the Blackmore's Night concert.
