Well I think what we're hearing is the B-band electronics rather than the guitar itself. Sounds a bit percussive and too bright, which is fairly typical of under the saddle pickups. You might try some EQ on that, especially taking some mid range out and maybe cutting the tops a little.
My acoustics all have Baggs Active Elements fitted with the on-board Baggs pre-amp. That's quite a good sounding combo as these things go, but I find it sounds more natural and less percussive if I run it through an external Baggs pre-amp. That external pre-amp actually gives me zero gain in the end (the on-board pre-amps have plenty of grunt already), but the controls on it allow me to apply some eq and that makes a big difference.
