hello .. i'm gonna be in Durban for just one show..... so a quick visit........ the show is a lunch recital at KZN university music dept... in their theatre on wed afternoon so i guess wednesday i have no time but i have plans to be in Durban by tues lunchtime/ afternoon........
so i need some pointers from dbn locals please ...... i would firstly like to know if there's any music stores in Dbn that specialises in classical music...as in has a great range of classical/flamenco nylon string guitars........ and also if any stores carry a large 2nd hand stock........ all i'm interested in is classical guitars and maybe see if i can track down some low tension strings too ........
also on Tues evening/ night i will be chilling with the surfers down in the Bluff ...... yeah i had to book into accomodation on the beach eheheh so if anybody knows of anything happening on tues night in Durban that would be cool to let me know......... any open mic's ect i'm always up for an impromtu gig........ or if any acoustic players worth seeing are performing tues night ...... i see there's a blues festival at wilsons warf but blues would be a distant second choice to anything classical/flamenco/latin .......
and if any acoustic players are in dbn especially nylon fingerstyle /classical players ????? i only know of pete pm me and maybe we can get together for a cuppa tea/beers and chat about things acoustic .......
yeah i shoulda thought to set up a jam but hey maybe it's not too late for tues afternoon/night
so yeah dbn guys and girls some input please
looking forward to chilling on the beach with my nylon and watching a sunset /sunriseover the ocean.. how i miss that in jhb .......
