I here you. I was really disappointed with the hatch. The sedan still stands true, but the hatch is more like a bad KIA rip off. I guess they are trying to join the main stream players. The STi looks quite aggressive, but I've only seen pictures. I will hold my judgment on that one.

On Hondas, I had a civic as well. Great cars and the engines were built to be revved but you can't compare it to a scooby. They're very different in nature. It's like comparing an STi to an M3. They're meant for different people.

i was just saying that i go to lots of street races and i've seen the most rediculous and the most amazing things
for eg: 1 night i saw a old datsun SSS eating a Turbo'd Nissan Sentra 200 Sti

We were joking about that earlier. One of my colleagues has a turbo'd VR6 with Nitrous. He once raced an old box shape 325i and it kicked his ass. What the guy had under the hood was a whole different story.

I've had my fun with speed. I'm enjoying guitar stuff way more now and the rates for speed fines are insane. I'd rather spend my money on gear + maintenance on guitar gear is way cheaper than on a performance car. I had to do my clutch + some odds and ends this month. R8k later and my credit card is feeling the pinch.

The racing world is a strange one and there's so many variables that make a strong car.

200STi Turbo - all good and well but you're trying to power the front wheels. Physics doesn't like that idea.
I've been actively involved with racing and motorsport for many years, I've seen Cressida's run 11's, old GTX's run 10's and Datsun GX's run 9 dead... very little surprises me these days in the racing world.

But i will discourage street racing: I unfortunately lost a friend on Sunday to racing. Even though it was a sanctioned and organized event, things went wrong and a great man lost his life. Please keep the racing to the places that are built for it - Killarney, Tarlton, Kyalami etc...

We will miss you Gert...

i sold my Honda a month ago and im still looking for a nice easy car
something like a Hyundai Getz ☹ or a Fiat Punto :-[
it hurts to think i have to resort to this but Honda's maintanance is rediculous
everything else is Great but

We could... but believe it or not we discuss music and guitars on the car forums without problems! ?

If we had to look at this from a logical stand point, with all the money I've spent on guitar stuff and my scooby, I could've paid of a huge chunk of my bond.

But what fun fun would that have been ;D

My 2004 WRX Impreza fits a 2x12 combo amp and 3 guitars cases in the boot. Back seat has had to be used for amps, guitars, pedalboards etc as well.
