Howzit going peeps?
My name is Steff and I'm from Durban.
I've been playing for about 15 years.
I'm currently lead singer and rhythm guitarist in a new rock band called "Zero Thirty One". my fellow band mate and lead guitarist, Donovan put me onto this site. (Nice 1 bud!)
I'm currently the proud owner of 8 guitars and counting.
My two favourites being my '63 Fender Jazzmaster (Lucy) and my '93 Hendrix re-issue Fender Strat (Nina).
My playing styles range from old school to new school. I started out playing along to Sabbath and Metallica and quickly found a great love for the all mighty power chord. Another great influence were all the grunge and alternative rock bands of the nineties. I also love indie rock quite a bit.
My gear consists of a Fender RM100 head and a Marshall 4 x 12" Cab. It's quite a lovely hybrid and loud as hell!
I've got a Marshall Bluesbreaker II pedal, an Ibanez delay and a Boss Wha pedal. I used to own a Boss Metal zone MT2, but found it was just way too noisy and got rid of it.
I also have 2 bass amps. A 100W Fender Rumble and a 65W Marshall Basstate.
Anyhow, that's about it from me.
