Nothing like spray painting to really try ones patience huh? It's one of those things you really need to consider very carefully before tackling because to be honest there's NOTHING worse than quitting half way through the project because of setbacks! Keep on trucking man, the reward at the end will be much sweeter.
This airbrush job of mine was one of my first attempts on one of my heli canopies, right after this picture was taken I tried spraying it with a rattle can clear coat to protect it from the heli fuel right like we would normally 2K clear everything. Well turns out the rattle can paint wasn't exactly compatible with the stuff I did the airbrushing with, ruined the entire job. I still own my airbrush and compressor, hoping to fire it up again real soon. ?

Oh I was going to say, accidently clicked the save button without thinking. Either way, in spray painting there's no point to taking short cuts! Do it proper and trust me the job will be easier. Mate of mine is a spray painting wizzkid, did all the courses and what not. He once had to respray a motorcycle fairing 4 times! On top of that, the paint was a funny metallic pearl red thing which meant he had to spray down a base, then another coat with bling and another with the pearl which were the part where the paint thickness determined the final outcome which had to match the rest of the parts, where the problem came in. It meant sanding the whole down and giving it another go at roughly R1200 per liter of paint! He still did it, and did reap the rewards at the end of the day.
Keep going! And do it right, you will be happy. ?
