Hi there, I've got an old Hagstrom guitar EDP 46 model. I need some parts for it as I want to restore it to its former glory. Any body got some parts? Pickups , logo anything. Anybody played these guitars? They had stainless steel frets and used a see through perspex fingerboard with a plastic mother of pearl below the finger board. The body was a sort of LP shape but not same size. Check out the Hagstrom website for better views. It was advertised as the fastest neck in the world. This thing ROCKS! Franz Ferdinand and Aerosmith are users. Brain Ferry,Abba and Elvis also used them but different models. It was made in Sweden and the serial no is 488091. Original colour was a mother of pearl plastic cover like the old accordions or 60's drums. Unfortional that was removed and the guitar is now sprayed a solid colour. Amazing instrument.

I just bought a 1970 Hagstrom 12- string acoustic. So in my endeavours to find out more about it and the year it was made, I came across this website: http://www.albinhagstrom.se/spare_parts.htm. There is a email contact there that you can email. Maybe they can help you with parts?
