Howzit guys,
Sorry, been offline for a while.. (Limited internet access)
Yeah, I heard they were discontinued a while ago. Understandable, 'cause they're bloody expensive. Just before they left the market, they were retailing for something like R41000 ?
IMO, not worth the money. However, I bought mine for cheaper than an American standard, so for me, at time, I think it was good buy and value for money (at that price)

Junk.
Felt like a cheap, cheap mexican strat .. tuners were cheap and crappy ..knobs were loose, but the worst was the alternating "tunings". The pickups are SO weak, i mean, there is a baritone tuning but the pickups are so weak that the tone is beyond muddy ,and the digital setting SUCK the tone out of the guitar.I tried several amps, including a marshall Tube stack and it Sucked. As much as Fender kicks ass , this guitar is deffinitely not worth the cash that they want for it.I know it's an old guitar, but my guitar shop is too cheap to buy an abundance of new ,nice guitars."
Have to agree on the baritone tuning, it's not the greatest (not that know where to use it?), and like Alan said, the battery life is not long (approx 4-6 hours). At the end of the day, it's still an american strat, and I've compared mine to my buddy's standard, and as far as pick-ups goes, there;s no difference whatsoever.
I do use the acoustic and humbucker setting quite a bit and really enjoy it.
So, for me, I'm very happy with mine and would change it for anything else ?
