FotoFlame Jap Strat clips

Stratisfear has been having some troubles with his 94 Fotoflame Jap Strat (similar to mine)

So I made these 2 clips to encourage him to pimp it out and give it another chance...

I think the main trouble he's been having was with the Floyd system and some intonation issues.

anyway , I was trying to go for the "John Mayer Blues/Strat tone"

Guitarboy: 94 Fender Jap Strat loaded Kinman Woodstocks - neck, middle and seymour duncan quarter pounder in the bridge.

I mainly used neck/ neck/middle on these recordings.
Boss GT8 into soundcard / running Cubase SX3.

Yeah, man - very nice tones. I actually don't need encouragement to stick it out with the guitar itself - now that it's verging on being set up properly I can see it's going to be a fantastic instrument and will play extremely nicely.

As you said, I think the stock pickups are pretty noisy and I would ideally like to swap them out at some stage...but the first thing I have to do (when I finally have it back from the Guitar Tech Triangle) is set up my GT-8 with some some particular patches for it. Then I'll have a better idea of how much the pickups need to change. Actually, I think you'd probably like the humbucker it came with - not too hot, not too cold, juuuuuuust right.
