Really nice LP. A tele is a tele dude ? Still amazing guitars. Played one again the other day and realised just how much I miss mine...

Hey! It did look salmon pink in the pic on the Squier site:

Anyway, I used to own a pink P-bass, nothing wrong with pink if you're enough of a man to pull it off. ?

The collection is getting there! So... when you getting a Strat?

mattayou

A strat will be when I have my next GAS attack! Don't tempt me Alan ?

Gearhead

How 'bout an amp first? 8)
(yes I have read you've got something to hear yourself play through ? )

mattayou

Ha ha admitted the MG50 is not much of an amp. Sigh so much to buy-so littly cash! ?

Gearhead

[rant] I think adding a tube amp to your gear would make 3 guitars sound better whereas adding a Strat would only make 1 sound much like the others. Before Les and Leo invented the electric guitar the 'instrument' consisted of neck, fretboard, tuners, strings, frets, nut, bridge and stuff for tone and amplification (the body). Just by leaving the tone and amplification for the amp+cab to sort out, we now have an 'instrument' that consists of guitar+amp+cab. No-one would buy a Taylor neck, fretboard, tuners, strings, frets, nut and bridge and put it on a Behringer body. Yet there's plenty of folk around who plug their R4000 electric into a R1000 sand amp? [/rant]

Hey I'll take any colour Tele, but only a blue burst LP ?

+1 a Tele is just about the easiest guitar to refinish whereas the LP will be a pain ?

mattayou

i actually am keen on repainting the tele but where on earth does one start...

Would be scared to stuff it up!!!

Tokai-SA

Beautiful Tele...I love the colour.

Don't repaint it, get Andy McGibbon to relic it. ?

Here's my Road Worn 60's Strat.

depends what area you are in?
Ask around there is alot of luthiers that can do it for you, try and find one with a good reputation.
Go ask some music stores if they can give you contacts of anyone.
