I guess if I was one of the heroes in an action movie I'd have plenty to be blue about. Imagine you can't even take a leak in peace without someone trying to shoot at you or blow you up and stuff. And you find yourself a honey and she like drugs you and tortures you for all that top secret stuff that you know nothing about. ☹

I was thinking the same thing. An upbeat swinging blues tempo. A chase scene while our hero alludes the evil brunette in the Alfa Romeo maybe?

This is way harder than I thought it would be! James 'Gatormouth' Bond is proofing to be a tough act to nail...The cool sounds in my head is not making it to the fingers and beyond... But my momma didna raise no quitter boss, no sirree, huh-unh.

Also went the ZZ-Top route, but shuffle rather than swing. It gave me an excuse to play a solo that's 90% harp harmonics (I was talking to Andrew Bryson about them recently, so they were on my mind). I also had fun shoehorning in a 007 reference at the beginning (but with a blues rhythm section).

My original attempt ended up sounding like a stew. There was just to much thrown into the pot and with my limited recording skills all the editing and patching sounded crap. It just didnt sound natural at all. So I scrapped it and tried something cleaner and less cluttered. Thought I could finish it tonight but I now see the deadline was noon today. Bummer. Next week I will be entering (in time) for sure!
