Chris: The 330 is not quite a 335 - it has P90 pups and and the body is completely hollow which gives it a disctinctive sound, which I find is great for blues. It can also give feedback problems - however, having said that, you can use the feedback to your advantage in some numbers.

Squonk: I used the Cort which I plugged straight into my audio card - used a little bit of EQ and added a touch of ambience.

Well, I've only ever seen em in books and on the net. I have never had the privilege of playing, or even holding one. A 335, a les paul standard, an original mia strat and a 72 thinline tele have been on my wishlist since forever, hence the comparison. But yours is every bit as beautiful! And then with the P90's as well, jeez. She's pure musical royalty in my opinion. I take it that over the years youve had quite a few guits come and go, but through all the selling, swopping and trading youve stuck with the 330 - and that says it all really.

I recently found a site by a guy who's into 330s (can't remember where now I'm afraid). They are really cool guitars. Kind of the forgotten Gibson, eh? They're pretty similar to an Epiphone Casino, I guess? That big hollowbody, P90 squonk is really the business.

You have great taste in guitars. Love the Yamaha bass. A buddy and I that used to play in a surf band have had a long-time hankering for the guitar version - Yamaha SGV.

Hi Pete...it reminds me how we use to push pieces of spunge through the f-holes to minimize feedback..!

The guitar looks a lot sexier than my bass, which is totally impracticle beast - you have to play it with a sling - because of the curve at the bottom, you can't play it on your lap. I don't think they made many of them in fact on another thread, I asked if anyone knew anything about it. Got a few replies, one of which was rather a derogatory remark from Alan ?
