Well guys and gals. I thought I'd just share my good news that I got today. I'm leaving for the US of A on the 10th/11th of September to start my new career as a touring FOH engineer. It's been great fun writing in the recording section (soory I havnt done it this year, but time was a problem), and getting to know everyone on GFSA. I'm not going to be able to be online quite as often in the coming weeks, seeing that I have quite a bit of admin to sort out, but I'll try and post every now and again when I get the chance from stateside. (I'll try to get pictures uploaded of my new toys), and come back for a holiday escorted by my Fender Tele! Kudo's to Alan and Norio for starting such a cool forum!

Just to get it all shipped here is going to be a problem

Hi Neps, this should not be to big a problem.

I have a friend in the states that shiped a few things. He is the sender and receiver so no import tax!!!
If there is questions at customs you will be able to prove your address in the states and in SA!

PS, bring me a strat while your at it ?
