Govendl3 but with errors corrected wroteWhat's the difference between the Squier Affinity Strat and regular Squire Strat
Affinity is one step up from Bullet, which is their cheapest model. It's generally your run of the mill import strat ?

Nice, Mike. Sounding good. Are you gonna be able to bring it through tonight?
Sadly I won't be able to make it tonight as I am not comfortable driving around so far so late at night alone ☹

Hey Mike good sounds man! When you gonna enter the weekly comps? ?
Thanks man, as soon as I have a bit more confidence in my playing and recording skills (Oh and compositional)?

Impressive. Real balls-to-the-wall bridge pickup (not quite a P90, but close though). I'd like to hear one with a slightly lower wind count. Also nice to hear Scott-era AC/DC is not dead. ?
The interesting thing is it keeps a good Stratlike character in position two. A bit loose on the low end, but far better than I would expect from such a thumping bridge pickup. What models are the middle and neck pickups, BTW? Do you have any clips of position four?
Thanks - Yes I looove it ? Not quite raw p90 but definately not the thin strat bridge it was. I was actually lying in bed last night thinking that I need to lower the bridge pup as it is a little too roaring and slightly hi-fi sounding. So was thinking that lowering it a little might warm it up a touch and take off the harsh treble end. Yes, I was suitably impressed with position 2, it really rocks out (Hence making a second recording cause the first did not do it justice) old school. Middle and neck are v60. Now that I am in Pta I am back on my Asus Xonar so will do the neck+mid tonight. It's REALLY nice. Possibly my favorite although a little accoustic sounding. I also really like the neck and bridge combo although all three does not do much for me.
