Okay, so I got a Behringer AM100 acoustic modeler today (I know that many have opinions on Behringer...) But for around R250 I am seriously happy with my purchase. Here are two of the first sound clips I recorded - not worked on or touched up:

i have the am100 aswell and i love the pedal , actually recorded this weeks compo entry with it ........ very good value for money and sounds almost identical to the boss pedal , actually a little better imo

Couldn't agree more - got plenty of acoustic 'versions' on my multi-FX pedal, but none come close to the AM100 - and I haven't even tinkered around too much with the settings and parameters yet.

Nah, its the tele. Need to lower the action on the SG, but still use it as much as the tele.

one thing i have noticed thou , the am100 does favour single coil pickups . as for setting it up the 2 knobs on the right ,seldom go past 3 .

After being so impressed with the AM100, I got another Behringer pedal - the HM300 - HM for heavy metal, although simple, plain distortion would be a more accurate description. Also pick up my DOD FX52 Classic Fuzz next week! Have I contracted a strain of GAS but for effects pedals?
