I ordered this DVD from Brett's site a while ago but the notice never arrived in my post box to go pick it up so it went all the way back to Oz and all the way back again after Brett emailed me personally to double-check my address - nice!
Any hoo... I love Brett's and Satch's legato and this DVD covers Bretts nicely, along with hybrid picking, ear training, interval recognition, fretboard coverage, slide guitar and like 40 minutes of live footage!
Man this rocks ?
So go to www.brettgarsed.com and order yours so you don't feel left out.
PS: I've asked Brett to come join us here. Hold thumbs!!

I've been looking at getting this for the longest time. Let us know how you like it.

If you wanna learn to play like Brett, I highly recommend it.
I dig his hybrid picking. I actually think it's a more "natural" way of picking up speed without hurting yourself and it has an extra natural sound as well.
His legato technique is kinda interesting but what I really like about this DVD is the segment on fretboard coverage. Breaking out of boxes, and so on. Very interesting and worth exploring if you feel trapped by the box shapes you've been learning up until now.
Oh and his ear-training technique KICKS ASS!!! Definitely something we should ALL be spending 5 minutes a day doing.
