I've checked out some attentuators, but they seem to be very expensive... over 300 euros and the like. Plus I don't dare to mess with amps, so I would have to pay someone to do it. ?
And yeah, I've considered the Tube King. People say it's awesome, I just have to find one somewhere.

hey dude.... the best dist pedal i have used is from a company called radial, the range is called tonebone..... they are really good and awsome sounding pedals.... i am using one at the moment and every band we have done a live show with has commented on how awsome my guitar sound is...... this pedal is a monster.... the more expensive ones are 2 channel drive pedals with which the 2nd(lead) channel has a built in effects loop which can be used for your delays and other pedals which u only want activated during the solo......
i have tried a few other pedals but to me the sound from the tonebone is far superior to the others.

its a valve driven pedal, once u change the stock valve inside to a tung sol or JJ valve you'll be the happiest guy alive. Tone for days

I'm not sure antenuators were created for 5 watt amps. ? Usually 5 watters are able to be cranked.. HOWEVER, there are some amazing mods for the epi jr.. Adding tone controls, an antenuator.. Takes a cheap amp and really turns it into a monster competing with amps in the $500-600 range... However, that is a different side line.

On the pedal line, what you want to be looking for is an overdrive pedal. Such as the Tube king, tube screamer, or any other over drive that'll push the the power of the tunes! ?

Good choice! It's an awesome pedal, that sounds even awesomer with a valve amp. Enjoy it!
