I was at a Fender evening last night at Music Connection.
At the end of the evening they pulled out a Eddie Van Halen Strat Relic.....apparently the last one available out of the production run......at R340 000.00. It was then played by Robin Gallagher of Fender SA through an EVH 5150Amp.....cranked.....lovely......
Dam I would also have gone if I knew about it.
@Tom there is one for sale in Melbourne for $11500 (R90000) so go get that one, have lekker holiday in Australia and then still come back with R150000... Crazy, how guitars are overpriced and infalted in SA.
Makes sense when a Custom Shop Classic Strat used to sell for $2000 in the US and they sell them here for R45000? mmmm
What i would do to get one of those in my collection... Even tho I dont LIKE EVH ?
Great Advertisment tho to have a 'R340k' guitar in your shop!!!
//edit: CORRECTION It was sold a few months back so we out of luck ☹
