Do you all remember that initial happiness you experienced when you did something for the first time? The day you rode your bike without the training wheels and swam without that inflated wings on your arms. Today I had that good all feeling again. Unlike the feeling of GAS you get in the "groan" area, this one is in the spine.
I've finally got my alternate picking to come naturally, more economy picking really but I'm so happy. Makes you want to play more and more. Next up for me are scales. Anyone else had a guitar life changing experience today?

Yesterday, for about 4 bars I played some 3 string sweeped arpeggio's at 200bpm... it felt amazing and helped me get out the guitar doldrums I've been stuck in lately ? unfortunaltely I havent been able to do it accurately again ?

I know the feeling. There is 2songs I play that are like that. I get it right 1 out of 100 times. Munster Rag by Brad Paisley (those who don't know him, please youtube him, he is awesome) and Glasgow Kiss by uncle John.
