Most expensive amp on the planet

vic

Hi Guys...have just seen what must surely be the most expensive amplifier on the market worldwide today ...Buddy Holly's personal Magnatone amp circa 1958.
Price $175,000 or R1,365,000 ! http://www.gruhn.com

They also have a '59 Les Paul at a reduced price of $235,000 or R1,833,000 !

Any takers ?

i have a friend who just sold a '59 gibson flametop for an obscene amount and got an l series strat back.
i felt the les paul and its pretty damn heavy, alot more weight than any guitar i felt. it glows under a U.V light aswell due to the lead based paint that was used.... how awsome is that.....

The Dethklok signature series Marshall head comes in at a measly $1 192 918 401 952 086 734 612 903 856 249 785 893 423 3. Its the size of a planet

I am interested to know more about this 1959 Les Paul Flametop that sold recently. ???
Are you sure it wasn't a 1960 LP???
