Does anyone know if the Gibson P90's come in different flavours or are they all the same? If different, which ones are in the Les Paul BFG?

They only do the one model of P90 - and it's a good'un. It is available with the two different casings though - soapbar and dogear. The soapbar is used in the BFG.
There is also the P94, which uses a humbucker size casing, specifically for replacing humbuckers with a P90.
