Ibanez S470 - Whadya Think?

No bucks to buy gear and, besides, I've already got an axe I need to pay for (thanks Francis ?), and my next buy is a recorder / recording PC but, nonetheless, I'm keen on getting something like this down the line.

Anyone played one of these before?

My friend's been looking into the S series for a week now, I think he's gonna go with the 470DXQM, if He goes with it I'll ask him what he thinks. I also think the S2170FW Prestige is worth a look I think Herman Li plays with one even though he has a signature series "GEN18 TVF"

I would go for this 470 though just cause its F###ing beautiful. Unfortunately I'd like to keep both my kidneys. ☹

In 2001 I bought a Ibanez EDR470, sweet guitar.

I find the bodies are too thin to sit and play with normally (just me personally)

Also they all only have 22 frets (if you are into that sort of thing) (well except that herman li thing, but I doubt anyone locally would buy one of those things)

i always wondered how they get such a big sound out of such skinny wood..
i like those.. super comfy.. just dont like the pup in the middle. 2 singles in mid neck is fine by me but a single and 2 buckers irritate me.

nice neck too except for the silly scratch inlays at 12th.

very nice guitar, also wouldn't mind getting one but they are just so expensive.
