John Petrucci & Jordan Rudess

NorioDS

I'm listening to "Black Ice" by the above duo and it's very very cool.

Dreamtheater doesn't do it for me but I enjoy Petrucci's solo stuff and this album includes the keyboardist from DT.

Very nice, complimentary combination of sounds. Recommend it!

PS: http://last.fm rocks!

Hey Norio

Maybe check out a band called "liquid tension" I think they fall in a similar line.

Thanks Gray ?

Liquid Tension Experiment - Tony Levin, John Petrucci, Mike Portnoy, and Jordan Rudess. My favourite bassist! Two albums so far of unashamed prog.

So kinda like Dreamtheater without the lead singer?

Definitely something I could enjoy then! Can't stand DT's vocals!

I absolutely love anything that's got Petrucci on it. I recommend "Acid Rain" by LTE. Awesome awesome playing. Also check out, Liquid Trio Experiment - Tony Levin, Portnoy and Rudess. Insane stuff ?

Cheers
