Yip the strat is definately my number one ?

@zw44- interesting that you go for the stilletto cab. i actually ordered the 4x12 recto cab but when they arrived i prefered the sound of the 2x12 abit more punchy.

i originally wanted the rec 2x12 but marshall didnt have them in stock and the next order was going to be a while and something like R2500 more.
So i played the 6505 through the stiletto and it sounded very cool, so i took it

HEHE well what i do with the strat is a SRV type sound so i use the strat and the maxon,route 66(comp side) and wah wah. into the peavey classic 30 AND then disconnect the speaker and use the MESA 2x12, then its ridiculously HUGE sounding

thanks and YES i CAN! LOL. Since leaving my band where the 6505+ and mesa was all i needed. I have aquired ALOT of gear as my musical taiste various SO MUCH! i love blues (think SRV/hendrix vibes) and i love METAL (killswitch/bullet/as i lay dying type stuff) and i love the "inbetween stuff" like MUSE/AFI/RATM. so yeh i demand alot of tones from my rig. still wanna ADD a few distortion stomps for the classic 30.

Does your RG have humbucker splitting option? (push pull on the tone pot)

bet u could get sum interesting tones with them duncans,

not that you need it, you got USA Strat ,

NAH it doesnt just normal 5 way tho. Yip that duncan is pretty nice "round full sound"

Ha, I am a sucker for the 70's headstock on a strat. It just looks so cool. Curious how does your whammy sound in that pedal placement, cuz it looks like its in the missle of you setup, I thought they were best at the start? I could be wrong?

Thanks mate, i also LOVE the 70's headstock, couldnt beleive i fond a strat with one! ? im not so in love with my strats neck tho,its abit too beefy. My pedal order has changed alot since that pic BUT the ts'es and wah are all before the whammy still because they never used in conjuction with eachother,so its kinda in the front in that regard. However my main issues is running the power to all the pedals, often thats why i have to put certain effects in the chain at that place because the daisy chain doesnt reach ☹

I am having issues with my strat and Tubescreamers at the mo, i am finding they dont have enough "overdrive" for me ie: sustain and gain/drive....cant seem to find a pedal that does "that" tone for me SRV style clarity but more hendrix style gain/sustain

Have the same issue, I use my TS on full drive but its still not enough. Wonder if Matta could mod it 8)

have you considered, getting pedal power? I used to daisy chain them and it was cool, but when i upgraded to proper pedal power The sound qualtity became amazing!!! Really and its so much less hassle

Yeh maybe MATTA can mod it? 8) would be nice.

What pedal power you using? voodoo labs? more/less what did you pay and how many stomps can you run from it?

Pedals are powered by a 9v 2a 18w powersupply, more than enough for the 5 pedals 8)
