Anyone here know how to decipher a S/N on an Oscar Schmidt Acoustic?
Not sure if it follows the usual First two digit year method.
S/N is 4120921274
Model # - OG-2M

Oscar Scmidt are Washburn and they follow Washburn serials - usually the first two digits. Occasionally - as with yours - in the 80s and 90s they used a single digit which tells you the year in the decade. So yours is either '84 or '94. You might also ask on the Washburn forums and see if someone knows what decade your model was manufactured, then you can narrow it down to exact year with the serial.

Aha! That makes sense now - it would be a 1994 model then...
