Hey TW......I've seen this kid quite some time ago, yep he's awesome.......however, I don't like his version of Canon Rock, I think FUNTWOs is much better!!! But then that's just me! I think he "overdoes" the whole thing way tooooooo much. I have also heard other stuff he's posted on YouTube, no doubt, he's very good, just not this version!

I like his Ibanez JEM though, for obvious reasons!!!!! ?

Yeah i agree FUNTWO's version is better for me to, but this guy is going to the top he is sponsored by fender ??? what i would do to be sponsored by them...

He does go a little bit over the top with his stuff i agree, but 15 years old and he can perform that well is quite impressive to me lol

Yep, Fender are sponsoring him, obviously AFTER he did this gig!!! They are also sponsoring a 9 year old African-American kid in the States....a Bass player.....the next Victor Wooten!!!

I think this kid is French, not even an American.....yeah that red strap is an abomination!!! ? But yep, his tone is awesome!

Hes very good. Ive always wondered though with these kids whats gonna happen in about 10 years time? Do you think they will be able to compose a cool song? How much better will they get?

Fisrt I think it will depend on the guidance they get from their parents, then their management, then hope like hell they don't go the way many kids have gone!
Example, Miley Cyris (don't know that spelling) is managed by her father.......so she will be ok in 10 years. Keep them in line, no probs........let them loose, major probs!!!

FUNTWO, the other awesome guy, says he has no ambition to become a "famous guitarist" until he has completed his studies.....now that's discipline!!!

hey you guys don't be critical on the boy.... just ask yourself how well could you play that piece at 15 .... or even now....

if anyone plays that well at 15 they would be well ahead of the curve ..........

and re that strap .... mmm look at the boy he's not exactly into image.... but hey you can dress him different and give him another strap... sure lot less effort than teaching anyone to play that well so young.... sure when he refines his talent he will be up there with the best ....

oh did someone say he was sponsored by fender??????????????? why ????????? what fender guitar could compete with a JEM in this style...... ??????????? this is a retorical question cos NONE is the answer.... he'll lose that gorgeous tone and have than wimpy fender rock sound...............nah i hope i read wrong......

Hey Keira, I don't think anyone was shooting him down, he is very good, only compared the tune to another youngster's version, that's all....
The strap, that was a fun remark, his parents should dress him properly, after all, he is French!!!!! Hahahahaha
Sponsored by Fender....YES.....simple answer, they are gonna pay him!!!! You pay an artist, you tell him what guitar to play, I believe its a STRAT!! Maybe they even offered him/ or will offer him his own Signature series.....Ibanez should have made the offer first!!!! You snooze, you lose!!! hahahaha...
The wimpy Fender rock sound???....I'm sure Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, JH (if he were still around) and many other Fender guitarists would disagree.......but that's up to him.....like I said, "money talks"......
Just a thought.......I can't think of anyone who would turn down sponsorship from Fender..........given the right deal!!!!

But, I would fully agree with you .......THE JEM RULES.......the day Fender makes me an offer (which is clearly never gonna happen)........goodbye JEM......... ? ? ?

Ok TW........ here's the kid I was telling you about, he's now 10! When I first came across this boy, he was only 9, that's when Fender signed him up...

Brandon Rose.....the Tiger Woods of Bass!!
Now imagine this kid at 15!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

talking about child prodigy's here the fabulous Sungha jung who's a young oh so young fingerpicker who is already at (no idea how old he is) but he's a fabulous fingerstyle guitarist and very versatile and oh so impressive... most fingerpickers i know would settle for playing like this at 50 .........

listen to him andy mc kee listen to the harmonic section at about 4 min into it .... wow

and a personal favourite is the bon jovi living on a prayer ...wait for the solo it's even there awesome ....

get his whole list of tunes on you tube... he covers almost everyone who had a hit and true some are better than others since there's just so many songs on you tube......... but if he ever had to do a 45 min set of his best he would blow peoples minds.....

so how old do you think he is ??????????

and don't anyone ever complain that they can't play well cos they have small hands and a short reach hehehehhehe

Showed Eli these kids, (not the 15 year old, yet. No hard rock now)......he is now really inspired..... ? Now he wants a Lakewood!!! ?
What he wanted to know was "how long did it take them to become that good?"

Think I will go get myself a red strap for my JEM, purely for inspiration! ? ?
