After you've gotten someone to do your maths for you can you break the calculation down for me? I'm completely ignorant as to what % customs works out to.

Many manufacturers will not allow retail stores to ship to buyers in other countries that have their own distributors. Pity when you see the stuff that is not only lower in retail price, but also discounted very heavily as a matter of course - this is why there is often a lot of "Gray marketing" for electronic items.
