GFSA, Supersportmobi, Gamespot, Ultimate Guitar, Harmony Central. In no particular order. Also love googling for Terry Pratchett quotes and Gary Larson cartoons... Not a fan of Facebook at all. Saw some folks use it like some kind of popularity barometer and that really put me of it. No, they're not all your friends. If they were, you would actually be phoning, mailing or visiting them.

I noticed that too. It's quite pathetic. But with the immegration what it is today it's a good way to keep up with friends overseas.

Hundred percent agreed... Some people have like 1500 friends on facebook, 95% of whom they never see, hear or speak to. Some people pretty much add every single person they ever meet.

Facebook is one of my ways to keep in touch with people I don't get to see very often. Whats funny is that I've got a few friends from the Forum listed as friends whom I've never met in person. But it's a great way to just keep in touch. I do have a rule though.. I'll only add if the person is contributing to my life in some sort of way, or if she's hot.. 8)
As for work it's been a blessing in disguise. Getting to keep in touch with certain clients has been made way easier. (Not everyone are habitual Email checkers or Cellphone answering types), and posting events (like gigs works like a dream come true.)

Facebook is a great application and can be used to make ones life a helluva lot easier and a lot more fun. My first, and unfortunately lasting, impression of it however is not a good one. So personally I would rather keep in touch in other ways. It's kinda like tequila. Some people absolutely love it. Love it! And their social lives are full and interesting because of it. But it makes me nauseous. Even the smell of it. Not tequila's fault, but its just the way I react to it.

Ah the facebook debate.
It's a great networking tool if used correctly. And yes, I do have friends that I've never met - fans of the magazine. Not fair to reject them.
