? howzit just found this forum...im a guitarist from cape town...not in a band at the moment. I have played in 2 "heavy" bands over the past few years, i LOVE gear.
I will post my rig once i get some pics of it ? oh and im a left hander that learnt to play right so i wouldnt need to search for a guitar ?

@ ANDREWJBRYSON - thanx mate, 4sure that RG sounds real good with that pickup...its my workhorse guitar ? the bridge is abit rusty and eroded from all the sweat and humidity from 4years of gigs ?

hmmm another 6505+ owner ? i will drop him a line. I actually thought of selling it (even tho i MISSIONED to get one) at the moment im more into "mellower" music,really feeling the muse/afi vibe. although killswitch engage still rocks my boat ? but yeh besides the MIFF clean tone of the 6505+ its KILLER on the overdrive...great value for money

I think oaks in the states have overkilled the topic Dimarzio vs Duncan,

but yea at the end of the day its all about personal taste, and either is gonna be better than

thanks guys yip GEAR costs alot more than anything! damn and it never stops...but i love TONE and too many styles of music...

MR SRV is my hero and so i have finally ventured into the blues world.Always played in metal/heavy/punk bands but since leaving that i traded my stack in for an american strat and now i rock 2 seperate rigs one for blues and other stuff and my METAL rig which i dearly love too..

i look foward to spending hours on this forum and hopefully help some peeps out as i have spend hours on getting tone...i spend more time tweaking than playing i think ? ?

Thanks. I will try get the pics up this weekend ? been itching to get some pics of my gear. HEHE yeh inflames had a good chat with me ? he is going for the 4x12 so im safe ?
