I am currently down the South Coast, Scottburgh to be precise, for 3 weeks of holiday, strategically planned for July to miss the Ice Cold JHB winter.

While meandering through the Scottburgh Mall kind-of-thing, I stumbled upon the CNA and on display in the windows was "The Electric Guitar Handbook". Paged through it and was quite impressed with the design, layout, and information.

Went to get some wine, came back and the book was gone. Holiday reading has just taken a dive.

Sorry, I don't. They are at end of cycle and I'm not sure if they will be reprinted - it's unlikely. Comparatively few were sold locally, so once they are gone they are gone. They've started showing up secondhand on amazon.co.uk though. I've only got three copies for myself - one each of the hard and soft cover and the Hungarian edition.

BTW - Tried to call your cell the other day and couldn't get through. Haven't got your other numbers. Give me a shout...

Hey Graeme, try the CNA, I got a copy at the CNA at the Glen, JHB, about a month ago, and they still had a few on the shelf! They will get it for you from one of their branches if you ask them to.

I'm pretty sure I've also seen a few copies at various Estoril Books outlets I've been to.

There's a Hungarian edition? ??? I doubt I'll get the original, but the Hungarian would do nicely. I'm half Hungarian... ? Any ideas where to get that one? Hungary?

? Just Google "Elektromos gitár kézikönyv" and you'll come up with a bunch of sites and shops selling it. I can't read Hungarian and I've got no idea of currency values, so I can't tell you which site is best...

Well, just got my copy today from Exclusive Books in Westwood mall - I think they got it from their Centurion branch - don't know whether they have any more. Not a bad price either @ R130
